IG announces three players leaving at the same time! WBG proactively contacts Erha, Liu Qingsong is reportedly joining LGD

Following the LPL second split, the transfer window is open again. Teams that missed the playoffs and mid-season tournament are gradually reinforcing for the third split. IG has the most aggressive transfers with the club announcing three players leaving at once: top laners Breathe and Soboro, and mid laner Nia. Among the starters from the first two splits, only the jungle and bot lane remain unchanged, with the mid lane retaining only Render.

After these three left, IG dropped a bombshell: TheShy is returning to the competition. The top streamer is coming back to play in the Nirvana bracket, sparking immediate discussion. Most fans are happy for TheShy, as they enjoy watching him play. Unfortunately, even with TheShy's return won't mean many matches, as the Nirvana group only has four teams and two rounds of games would total just six matches.

For traffic reasons, the officials might change the format, but that's a future matter. With TheShy back, Rookie will likely return too. Though not yet announced, the top-mid duo is definitely bonded, no doubt about that. For the third split, IG's final lineup could be: Top TheShy, Jungle Wei, Mid Rookie, Bot JiaQi, Support Meiko.

WBG, also in the Nirvana group, is actively seeking a strong support. Their first choice is quite amusing. According to, Weibo contacted Erha, only to be rejected by Erha as they had kicked him out in March, now brazenly trying to reclaim him from WE. The management's move is truly absurd. If they can't secure Erha, WBG will settle for Jwei, who left EDG.

LNG has parted ways with their Korean imports this transfer period. Star jungle Croco has been released, with Weiwei reportedly coming in as the new jungler. Support Missing, having failed his goal of reaching the Peak group, might either rest or stay with but LNG has contacted Hang. The support position will likely change next split. Dropping the Korean players has disrupted the team, and LNG's strength will drop significantly.

Beyond the three Nirvana teams, Peak group teams are also making changes. LGD is investing this time. They've contacted Breathe, who left IG, for top lane, while also reaching out to Croco from LNG for the jungle spot. Liu Qingsong is confirmed to join as support. Keeping their bot duo unchanged and replacing the other three positions, if it works out, LGD's strength could soar, though nothing is fully decided yet.

As for other teams, EDG has let Jwei go but still has Parukia, who is likely to start. In the mid lane, after Da An's departure, the team has contacted Korean player Bulldog, but overall improvements are modest. NIP and TT have no updates yet, suggesting no changes for now. Based on recent transfer activity, IG, WBG, and LGD look promising for the next split, as their changes are all improvements.

Now that TheShy is back, I'm eager to watch the Nirvana bracket matches. He's been off for two splits, so it's unknown how well he has maintained his form. Since he's daring to return, his performance shouldn't be too poor. Even if he struggles, it doesn't matter much. seeing him return to the competitive scene is already joyful. I hope IG can fight through the Knight's Path into the playoffs.

Conclusion:

Compared to last year's roster that made it's only ADC that's different in IG's next split. With the top-mid duo back, they won't need time to adapt. However, Rookie has also been away for a split, making his form uncertain. Plus, his recent reputation hasn't been good, so he needs to prepare for criticism upon returning.

do you think IG can make the playoffs in the third split?
