In the second round of the lower bracket of the VALORANT Masters Tokyo knockout stage, XLG was defeated 0-2 by LEV, ending their London Masters campaign in sixth place.
Map 1: The Lotus Temple

Defense side LEV: Neon, Chamber, Sova, Phoenix, Astra
Attack side XLG: Sova, Phoenix, Jett, Omen, Killjoy
XLG won the pistol round to start, but LEV then took the bonus round to earn the first point of the half.
LEV's defense was extremely aggressive, turning defense into offense, frequently pushing forward from three points to catch out opponents, which led to a five-round winning streak.
In round 8, all five XLG had all five ultimates ready and caught spikeziN pushing B. happywei’Happywei zero activated his ultimate to gain intel, and XLG quickly took A point.
XLG managed to win two more rounds, but LEV regained control and took another three consecutive rounds, ending the first half with LEV leading 8-8, XL-4.

In the second half, XLG once again won the pistol round, but LEV started the bonus round and went on a three-round win streak.
In round 19, XLG secured kills at both A and B points, but at, in C point, Sato made an unbelievable three-kill play by winning his duels.
In the match point's 20th round, LEV decisively took A point and won Map 1.

Defense side XLG: Fade, Sage, Cypher, Omen, Killjoy
Attack side LEV: Omen, Jett, Skye, Raze, Viper
Throughout the first half, XLG was completely overwhelmed, losing rounds quickly one after another in quick succession.
In round 11, XLG managed a pincer attack from both sides on C point, and though Sato eliminated two, NoMan eventually NoMan took them down to secure the first round for XLG.
LEV finished the first half with a 10-point lead, having used both of their timeouts and XLG managed to secure only a single point.

In the second half, XLG challenged B but lost the pistol round. XLG then forced up and attacked C, where Rarga got two consecutive kills at BC. XLG managed to hold off LEV’s retake at the bomb site and closed the gap by one round.
In round 16, XLG was stopped by Neon at C, leaving NoManped in a 1v3 that he couldn't turn around, and ultimately XLG lost Map 2.
