VCT: STH's operator showcased a precise double kill, PRX defeats EDG 2-1 to advance to the finals

The Valorant London Masters winners' bracket final saw PRX triumph over EDG 2-1, punching their ticket to the championship match!

Map 1: Breeze

Defense side PRX: Viper, Sova, Omen, Jett, Neon

Attack side EDG: Sova, KAY/O, Jett, Harbor, Viper

PRX secured the pistol round on defense, EDG comfortably took the bonus round, and in the 4th round EDG caught a forward-pushing for, then eliminated d4v41 at the bombsite, leveling the score.

In the 5th round, something and invy held down the B site, shutting down EDG's entire attack.

In the 6th round, ZmjjKk on Jett dominated the A bombsite, securing an ACE with his blade storm!!! Then Qiuqiu managed to clutch out a 1vX situation inside Viper's ultimate, saving the round!

Kangkang, Qiuqiu, and nobody consistently stepped up in clutch moments to save the team, leading EDG to a four-round win streak.

In the 11th round, Kangkang got a triple kill at B, but Jinggg responded with a triple of his own, ending PRX's losing streak.

EDG entered halftime with a two-round lead.

In EDG's bonus round during the second half, Qiuqiu secured a triple kill from the back of B, halting PRX's attack.

In the 15th round, something landed three kills with the operator through mid, breaking EDG's defense at B. He then followed up with another triple kill at A, allowing PRX to take the lead in the second half.

In the 20th round, something missed a check while clearing, allowing Smoggy to turn around and eliminate him, ending EDG's losing streak.

In the 21st round, PRX sped up their A execute and cleared the back of the site, securing match point.

In the 24th round, Qiuqiu from the back of B eliminated two PRX players, and EDG successfully defended against the push, forcing overtime.

In overtime, Jieni7 exploded with a quad kill to tie the score, then a clutch flank gave EDG the lead. In the final winning round, Qiuqiu held down B, and EDG secured Map 1 in overtime.

Map 2: Fracture

Defense side PRX: Breach, Brimstone, Killjoy, Skye, Raze

Attack side EDG: Cypher, Neon, Brimstone, Fade, Phoenix

PRX started the first half with five rounds, EDG won their bonus round, then took their second round in the 7th by hitting B.

EDG rattled off four consecutive wins to tie the score. In the 11th round, PRX planted at A, and in a 2v2 post-plant, Qiuqiu got a double kill to lock it down.

Despite trailing early, EDG mounted a comeback with a six-round win streak, taking a two-round lead into halftime.

PRX started the second half with six straight wins. In the 19th round, EDG's eco round turned into an upset at A, securing their first point of the half.

In the 20th round, EDG played aggressively; nobody traded one at A, then EDG rotated to B and won the retake, with Smoggy getting a quad kill and defusing at the last moment. In the 21st round, PRX held with double Op lines and straight-up defense to take the round.

With PRX on match point, EDG fought back tirelessly to force overtime. However, in overtime, PRX closed out the map with two straight rounds.

Map 3: Lotus

Defense side PRX: Viper, Skye, Raze, Jett, Omen

Attack side EDG: Skye, Omen, Jett, Raze, Viper

PRX once again won the pistol round, but EDG gained momentum on their bonus and took three consecutive rounds.

In the 6th round, PRX retook A successfully, sparking a six-round win streak.

In the 12th round, Kangkang on Jett activated his blade storm and sped into A, securing EDG's fourth round.

Half-time score: PRX 8-4 EDG.

EDG finally won the pistol round in the second half, holding off PRX's attack at A.

In the 16th round, d4v41 lurked through mid into B second floor, but Kangkang missed his shot and failed to hold the angle, allowing PRX to take B crossfire and win.

PRX won five straight rounds in the second half to close out Map 3 and advance to the finals.
