Hello everyone, LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners. Welcome to Game World.
The first mid-Korea clash of MSI went to a decisive game five. After BLG and T1 tied 2-2, BLG boldly revealed their ace in the hole in the fifth game, selecting their signature mid and jungle combination of Syndra and Kindred, and achieved a perfect start.

After securing the advantage, BLG gave T1 no opportunity, crushing them in 27 minutes to advance to the next round.
Signature Kindred appears, four marks early
The match entered its decisive fifth game. In this game, BLG revealed their hand in the jungle position, locking in Kindred with the last Counter pick, paired with a strong laning mid and bottom lane combination. T1, on the other hand, opted for a Taliyah composition, pairing a hyper-carry ADC, Aphelios, with Lulu. BLG needed to secure mid and bottom lane pressure and facilitate Kindred's development in this game, while T1's jungle management was crucial.

At the start of the game, BLG chose to play around Kindred. Teammates coordinated invasions into the jungle to help secure marks, resulting in a very good start. Mid lane Syndra also achieved lane dominance.
Subsequently, Kindred invaded the jungle and encountered Trundle. Oner aggressively fought, forcing a Flash, but BLG's bottom lane, with support arriving from top lane, coordinated with Kindred to secure a kill. Kindred immediately got four marks. Furthermore, with advantages in mid and bottom lane, they continuously invaded the jungle to suppress T1's vision and secured all map objectives.

At 12 minutes, On roamed mid lane, initiated from over the wall with double E R to lock down Faker, and coordinated with Syndra to secure a kill. At this point, T1 had almost lost all their tempo. An attempt to dive the top lane tower was easily avoided by Bin using his ultimate to clear the wave, putting immense offensive pressure on T1.
T1 fails at stealing Baron, BLG wins convincingly
With a massive advantage, BLG secured the Rift Herald and collected the third Dragon. T1's attempt to invade the jungle for the blue buff also failed. BLG's strategy revolving entirely around Kindred was proving highly effective. However, at the 18-minute mark, Knight's Syndra attempted a 1v1 duel against Faker in the side lane, a classic face-off that ultimately failed, resulting in him being solo-killed by the opponent.

At 20 minutes, BLG grouped to push the mid lane tower and took it easily, but their subsequent attempt to gank Doran in the top lane failed. Their mid lane tower was destroyed, and Faker also damaged the bottom lane tower significantly. Both teams began preparing for the Dragon Soul teamfight.
At 22 minutes, T1 seized the timing of the fourth Dragon to force a Baron Nashor. BLG reacted in time, with the entire team arriving. They managed to initiate on Oner first, securing the kill. Kindred also successfully Smited the Baron. Following the teamfight victory, BLG demolished the mid lane inhibitor tower in one push, extending their gold lead to nearly 6,000. They then secured the Mountain Dragon Soul.

Afterwards, BLG continued to push the top lane tower. T1's attempt to flank from behind failed. BLG smoothly destroyed the top lane inhibitor. Kindred charged in and eliminated Rumble directly, then aggressively destroyed the base turrets, ultimately securing the game victory.
This game lasted only 27 minutes. BLG successfully secured the match victory and smoothly advanced to the next round.
Clutch closure, BLG advances
Personally, I believe BLG displayed a strong nerve in the final decisive game. They dared to select their signature mid and jungle champions in this crucial match and both performed effectively, also demonstrating perfect execution. Despite some mistakes in previous games, in the final game they gave T1 almost no chances, finally achieving the ideal match.

Of course, during the game, Knight attempted to solo-kill Faker but failed. However, from a player’s perspective, Knight did shoulder the responsibility of helping BLG win the game. His willingness to attempt such a maneuver proves he genuinely wants to do better to secure the victory.
Throughout the entire BO5, Knight's form was very consistent. Notably, in the crucial second game, his Swain, while his teammates hadn't yet found their form, strongly helped the team secure the win, successfully inspiring his teammates to perform at a higher level in subsequent games.

LPL teams have always been known for slow starts. BLG still made some mistakes here and there, but fortunately, they held their nerve in the crucial final game. Having advanced successfully, BLG will now aim for higher placements. It is also hoped that they can return for good review and reflection to prepare for their upcoming matches.
