VCTCN: Deryeon holds down A site with an ACE, WOL 2-0 defeats TEC

The 2026 VCTCN Stage 2 regular season kicked off with WOL sweeping TEC 2-0 in the first match, claiming the stage opener!

Map 1: Sunset City

Defense WOL: Neon, Viper, Sova, Sage, Omen

Attack TEC: Neon, Sage, Cypher, Omen, Sova

In the pistol round, a massive mid fight broke out; WOL quickly held mid and won the exchange. Then TEC continued pushing mid into B. Though they failed to take the round, they managed to drop four of WOL's weapons.

WOL went on a four-round win streak. In round 5, TEC traded glacler's Operator on A site, planted the spike, and WOL's retake lacked utility, allowing TEC to secure their first point.

In round 6, Deryeon held down the A site link against five TEC players, securing an ACE to defend the bombsite.

Round 8: TEC countered WOL's B site push, stabilized mid with Xiaolong taking down two in a row, claiming their second point.

In the first half, WOL was on fire, taking eight rounds, while TEC gradually found their rhythm and earned four rounds.

In the second half, TEC won the pistol round, then Xiaochun went on a three-kill spree with Trailblazer, and WOL managed to eco-frag on A site for one round.

Round 16: WOL executed a slow push onto A; the moment the smokes dissipated, WOL eliminated TEC's defense. Haodong attempted a flank but was taken out by aluba in the final clutch.

WOL then went on a five-round win streak, decisively securing Map 1's victory.

Map 2: Lotus

Defense WOL: Neon, Viper, Sova, Killjoy, Omen

Attack TEC: Jett, Reyna, Cypher, Omen, Sova

In the pistol round, Haodong exploded with a four-kill performance to lead the team to victory. In round 3, WOL retook C site; teammates coordinated from garage, successfully winning the retake.

Round 4: TEC pushed C again; Xiaolong rushed directly into site, eliminating two WOL players in garage. WOL opted to save three rifles, but two were confiscated.

Round 6: glacler equipped an Operator and held C long. TEC's dual duelists pushed C but were taken down; Haodong and Lucas attempted infiltration on A and were eliminated.

With Xiaolong's four-kill streak, TEC secured three consecutive rounds. In round 10, WOL retook A site; Deryeon held the bombsite and coordinated with teammates to reclaim it.

Round 12: The fight for A long ended in TEC's defeat. After TEC took the lead in the first half, WOL fought back, narrowing the gap to two rounds.

WOL won the pistol round in the second half and went on a five-round win streak. In round 18, TEC retook C site, finally earning their first point of the second half.

TEC chased three rounds in a row, leveling the score at 10-10. In round 21, WOL accelerated onto A, catching TEC off guard. Dynamite, left alone with an Operator on retake, couldn't turn the tide.

In round 22, aluba scored a four-kill on A site, leading the team to match point. On match point, WOL pushed A again; Xiaochun's Viper ultimate sealed off TEC's retake route, and WOL took Map 2's victory.
