In the EWC playoffs, T1 and AL competed in a BO3 series. After two fierce matches, AL defeated T1 with a score of 2-0, advancing to the EWC finals!

In the first game, AL featured Arola in the top lane, Troll in the jungle, Xerath in mid, and Lucian plus Braum in the bot lane; T1 had Gwen in the top lane, Monkey King in the jungle, Annie in mid, and Jhin plus Rell in the bot lane. During the laning phase, AL's bot duo managed to kill T1's bot duo, followed by a 2v2 skirmish in the top jungle where AL's top and jungle took down T1's top and jungle. Early on, AL destroyed T1's first blood tower in the top lane, leading the economy by 5K.

In the mid-game, T1 initiated a team fight in the jungle, but their damage was insufficient. AL quickly came to support and took down four T1 players, securing the Rift Herald. Ultimately, at 27 minutes, AL wiped out T1 in the mid lane, claiming victory in the first game. The MVP for the first game was awarded to Tarzan's Troll.

In the second game, T1 had Rumble in the top lane, Scorpion in the jungle, Taliyah in mid, and Corki plus Galio in the bot lane; AL had Graves in the top lane, Zhao Xin in the jungle, Galio in mid, and Senna plus Alistar in the bot lane. During the laning phase, Tarzan's Zhao Xin was like a war god in the river skirmish, allowing AL to secure three kills early on and leading the economy by 1K. In the mid-game, during the Rift Herald fight, AL secured the Herald and took down two of T1's support players, subsequently pushing down the mid lane first blood tower.

In the mid-game, Saint Gunner's Graves solo killed Doran's Rumble under the tower. Afterwards, both teams contested the Rift Herald, and AL scattered T1's players, securing the Herald. At 23 minutes, a chaotic fight broke out in the mid lane, where T1 was utterly powerless; their formation was broken, and they were eliminated one by one. AL achieved a 1-for-4 trade and secured the dragon, extending their economic lead to 7K. At 26 minutes, Gumayusi's Corki solo killed Shanks' Galio in the top lane, but AL's other members took down T1's bot lane and mid lane towers. At 26 minutes, T1 forcefully secured the first Baron, but AL arrived to take down T1's top and jungle players. In the late game, at 32 minutes, T1 initiated a fight in the river, but AL decisively countered, killing Gumayusi's Corki. T1 lacked damage and suffered a collapse, with AL eliminating four T1 players and claiming victory in the match.
