The top team in LPL has flipped! BLG secured revenge in a comeback, exploding upon returning home, with the new jungler achieving legendary status in one match.

Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is World Game Exchange.

Today, LPL features a major showdown between AL and BLG, two of the best-performing teams in the second stage. Despite most predictions favoring AL, BLG erupted with their new lineup, dominating the final match to successfully defeat AL and complete their revenge.

This match is sure to spark a new round of discussions, as the script of BLG's explosive performance with a new jungler plays out once again.

Shadow dominated the rhythm, giving BLG an early lead.

During the draft phase of the final match, AL, on the blue side, picked Ryze and Jarvan IV for a strong jungle-mid synergy, complemented by a solo top Ryze and a bottom lane featuring the Senna composition with Tahm Kench as support. Their overall lineup focused on coordinated rhythm and teamwork, while BLG opted for Lucian and Tahm in the bot lane, along with Renekton to enhance mid-game burst damage.

The jungler also chose a team-fighting style with Sejuani, paired with a late-game core mid-laner, Viktor.

In the early stages of the match, both sides stabilized their farming, opting for lane swaps. The first blood occurred in the top lane, where Shadow’s Sejuani flanked Bin to successfully take down the Spirit Blossom, gaining an advantage in the top lane while timing it perfectly to disrupt Saint Gunner's level 6 timing.

In the following first dragon fight, AL gathered first to rush, but BLG countered with Viktor securing a kill on Jarvan IV.

Although AL managed to kill a support Tahm Kench, Lucian in the top lane gained significant gold from plating, leaving BLG still ahead. At the 12-minute mark, both teams clashed in the jungle, with AL's Tahm Kench getting a kill, but BLG’s reinforcements arrived, allowing Viktor to secure another kill. Overall, the situation remained favorable for BLG, as Sejuani set the pace and executed a tower dive to eliminate Senna, leading to a substantial early-game advantage for Shadow.

With continuous victories in team fights, BLG achieved their revenge.

At the 15-minute mark, Elk made a mistake in the mid-lane, giving away his life, but soon after, BLG planned a tower dive in the bot lane. Shanks' teleport for protection failed, and Sejuani tanked the tower successfully, while Bin dealt massive damage, resulting in a 2-for-1 trade. Saint Gunner fell twice, leading to a disastrous situation, while AL took the Rift Herald and destroyed the mid-lane tower.

In a favorable position, BLG invaded the blue buff area, initiating an attack that resulted in three kills, but AL responded with Ryze entering for a devastating AOE, allowing them to counter and also secure three kills, leading to a reset for both teams.

At the 22-minute mark, BLG initiated a team fight at the Baron pit with Sejuani leading the charge. Initially, BLG's damage output fell short, and after AL countered, BLG ended up trading two for three, with Shanks taking down Elk just before dying.

The team fight at the Baron pit at the 24-minute mark determined the game's outcome. BLG rushed in first, but when AL grouped up, BLG relinquished their position. Tahm Kench initiated the fight, and with Jarvan IV's help, they secured a kill, followed by Tahm Kench taking down the Baron. In a decisive fight, Lucian output damage effortlessly, resulting in a team wipe.

In the 27-minute Baron fight, AL’s vision was disrupted as BLG flanked with a teleport. The ensuing team fight resulted in a 5-for-1 exchange, losing only one mid-laner, and after winning another fight at the mid-lane inhib, they concluded the match.

Shadow performed exceptionally, with BLG's script playing out once more.

In this match, BLG's substitution script played out again. After changing junglers once more, BLG managed to achieve revenge against AL. Just a few days prior, BLG had suffered a shocking defeat against G2 in the EWC, leading to their elimination. Yet, in just a few days, after changing junglers, BLG erupted and overturned AL.

I personally believe that Shadow's performance was indeed impressive, especially in facing Tarzan, widely regarded as LPL's top jungler, and managing to suppress the rhythm; it was truly surprising.

However, this victory does not necessarily mean that BLG has returned, as they have experienced similar situations before where a jungler change led to strong performances, only to decline over time. From Xun to Wei, then Wei again, and now Beichuan and Shadow, it can only be said that Shadow's arrival has given BLG a positive start.

Shadow is indeed a talented player, but we still need to observe how his true capabilities hold up.

It is worth noting that Shadow is also a player who enjoys messing with opponents' mental states, prominently displaying GEN's logo during the match to rattle AL. In contrast, AL's performance after returning home seems a bit off, and they need to thoroughly review and adjust. This loss may not be a bad thing for them, as the league needs the emergence of more strong teams to enhance the competitive intensity.
