In the second round of the V-League, the home side Becamex TPHCM is set to welcome CAHN, a team recently back from a loss in Thailand.
On their first away match at the Highlands in round one, Coach Anh Đức’s team celebrated a full 3-0 victory over the hosts. This result also temporarily placed Becamex TPHCM at the top of the standings. A smooth start has given Minh Trọng and his teammates a very stable morale.
However, Coach Anh Đức himself admitted that he was not surprised by this outcome since HAGL no longer had the strength they showed last season. Their opponent in the second round is a completely different team - Công an Hà Nội.
In contrast to Becamex TPHCM, CAHN has yet to secure any wins this season. They drew with Thể Công Viettel in their V-League debut and recently suffered a heavy defeat against BG Pathum from Thailand in the Shopee Cup. It can be said that Coach Mano Polking’s squad is under immense pressure and must strive hard to achieve a victory at Gò Đậu stadium.
Regarding squad strength, CAHN is clearly stronger than their opponents, especially since the home team no longer has Tiến Linh. If they perform to their full potential, the capital representatives should have no difficulty winning. However, Becamex TPHCM also holds certain psychological advantages. The clash between these two teams promises to deliver an exciting chase.
