Bac Ninh Club has officially confirmed the acquisition of striker Ho Ngoc Thang.
Recently, Bac Ninh Club's official website confirmed the addition of a new recruit. That player is striker Ho Ngoc Thang, born in 1994, developed at SHB Da Nang's academy, with many years of experience competing in the V.League. He is an experienced center forward, known for intelligent movement, excellent space utilization, and creating opportunities for teammates.
Wearing the Vietnam U23 jersey, Ho Ngoc Thang earned a bronze medal at the 2015 SEA Games. At the club level, he has played for several prestigious V.League teams, winning multiple championships and leaving important marks that contribute to his rich career achievements.
Joining Bac Ninh FC for the 2025/26 season, Ho Ngoc Thang is expected to strengthen the attacking line, bringing explosiveness and efficiency to the new journey. According to some sources, Ho Ngoc Thang moves to Bac Ninh on loan from CAHN.
Earlier in the 2023/2024 season, CAHN surprised by signing Ho Ngoc Thang. His departure was anticipated as he only appeared in 10 and 9 matches respectively in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons, with the sole highlight being a goal in the National Cup.
Moving to Bac Ninh Club could open a new chapter for this former Vietnam U23 player. This is seen as an opportunity for him to regain form and reaffirm his value after a less successful period at the capital club.
Throughout his career, Ho Ngoc Thang made a strong impression in the Vietnam U23 team under coach Toshiya Miura. As a clever, quick striker with a good goal sense, the 1993-born forward was once expected to be a future top scorer for the Vietnam national team. Now at 32, it is hoped his experience can benefit Bac Ninh Club in the First Division.
