After just over a month together, Alfredo Pedraza has left Ninh Bình to join the Spanish second division league.
The duo Victor Morales and Alfredo Pedraza were the first foreign players to join Ninh Bình FC after the club was promoted to the V-League. However, after just over a month of trials and pre-season friendlies, the two Spaniards had to leave Ninh Bình FC.
In Ninh Bình’s registered squad for the V-League, there are a total of 5 foreign players, with 2 foreigners, Janclesio and Geovane, supported by the club to obtain Vietnamese citizenship soon, while Victor Morales and Alfredo Pedraza are not included.
Born in 2000, Alfredo Pedraza Arias is only 24 years old this year, stands 1.85m tall, and plays as a central defender. He was developed in Atletico Madrid’s academy and has experience with several lower-tier Spanish clubs such as Atletico Madrid B, CF La Nucía, Atletico Levante, Ponferradina, UD Sanse, Unionistas CF, Badalona Futur, and CE Sabadell. This is his first time playing abroad.
Currently, Alfredo Pedraza has returned to Spain to play for Fuenlabrada, a club competing in Spain’s Segunda División B. Meanwhile, Victor Morales’ next destination after leaving Ninh Bình remains unknown.
Victor Morales Alonso, born in 1997, is 1.86m tall and last season played for Terrassa FC (Spain’s 4th division), a club with a rich tradition in Catalonia. Morales was a key player for Terrassa FC, appearing in over 100 matches and contributing significantly to defense. With his strong situational awareness and aerial ability, Morales can effectively play both central midfield and central defense.
Right after promotion, Ninh Bình aggressively recruited players from foreign coaches to domestic and foreign players. The squad includes many Vietnamese national team members, quality foreigners, and a promising group of young talents. At the club’s kickoff ceremony, Ninh Bình FC’s goal for the 2025/2026 V-League season is to finish among the top 3 teams.
