Bac Ninh FC officially selects Viet Yen Stadium as its new home ground for the 2025/2026 First Division season.
Bac Ninh FC club has officially chosen Viet Yen Stadium, located in Viet Yen ward, Bac Ninh, as their home venue for the 2025/26 National First Division season. Opened at the end of 2024, Viet Yen Stadium is a modern sports facility covering over 8,000 square meters. The first phase includes 7,500 seats, with plans to expand to a total capacity of 22,000 seats.
Situated near Bac Ninh’s administrative center, the stadium offers spacious surroundings and fully integrated infrastructure that meets all professional competition standards. Currently, the facility is still undergoing upgrades and improvements to ensure it meets all requirements for the First Division matches.
The choice of Viet Yen is not only a sporting decision but also an opportunity to unite the football passion of the entire Bac Ninh community, where the vibrant stands will serve as a cultural bridge, bringing people closer together and aiming toward a bright shared future.
Previously, in last year’s Second Division season, Bac Ninh club played at Tu Son City Stadium. The stadium spans 4.4 hectares and includes facilities such as the playing field, stands, running track, drainage system, and auxiliary buildings. It was designed and built to international standards for 11-a-side matches, measuring 105 meters long and 68 meters wide, featuring artificial turf and seating for 500 spectators.
According to regulations, that stadium does not meet the requirements after Bac Ninh club earned promotion to the First Division. Selecting the new Viet Yen Stadium, with a larger area, nearly 8,000 seats, and modern facilities, is entirely reasonable. This also reflects the club’s ambition to develop and move towards greater professionalism in the future.
To prepare for the 2025/2026 First Division season, Bac Ninh club has made significant investments in its roster by adding many quality players such as Ha Duc Chinh, Huynh Tuan Linh, Ho Ngoc Thang, Hai Huy, Nguyen Thanh Long, Truong Van Thiet, foreign player Kainã Nunes, and Vietnamese overseas player Eddie Tran.
