Tiến Linh nearly suffered an injury while interacting with fans.

Tiến Linh slipped while signing autographs for supporters but fortunately avoided any injury.

After scoring immediately in his debut match for Ho Chi Minh City Police Club in the first round of the V-League, defeating Hanoi FC 2-1, Tiến Linh was expected to continue leading the team's attack at Thống Nhất Stadium. However, in round 2, when playing away against Viettel, Tiến Linh was quite unremarkable.

The current Vietnamese Player of the Year was starved of the ball throughout the entire 90 minutes and barely had any notable plays. Despite feeling disappointed due to his lackluster performance and the heavy 0-3 loss to Viettel, Tiến Linh stayed behind after the match to take photos and interact with the fans present at the stadium.

Before heading into the locker room tunnel, Tiến Linh lingered to take photos and sign autographs for a large number of fans at Hàng Đẫy Stadium. At that moment, the 1997-born striker was still wearing cleats and unexpectedly slipped on the tiled floor. Tiến Linh showed signs of pain in his ankle but remained to finish interacting with fans before entering the tunnel.

Luckily, the slip did not result in any injury for Tiến Linh, especially with the Vietnam national team preparing to gather in September. With Xuân Sơn and Văn Toàn still injured, Tiến Linh remains the key goal scorer for both the national team and Ho Chi Minh City Police Club.

After the disappointing 0-3 defeat to Viettel, Tiến Linh shared: "Today, the connection between Linh and his teammates was not good as the foreign players and Linh have not had much time to train or communicate together.

But this is just the beginning. Linh believes that in the near future, he, the foreign players, and other forwards will try to sit down, exchange ideas, train together, and talk more to better understand each other and perform better in upcoming matches."
