Coach Gerard Albaladejo expressed satisfaction with Ninh Bình’s 4-0 win against Thanh Hóa and praised the Vietnamese overseas player Đỗ Chung Nguyên.
Ninh Bình continued their impressive form in the V-League by defeating Thanh Hóa 4-0 at home in the recent round. Foreign forwards Gustavo and Daniel showed great chemistry and excellent skills, securing the win for the Ancient Capital team.
After the match, Spanish coach Gerard Albaladejo expressed his contentment and gratitude to the fans.
"We always enter every game with a mindset focused on winning. Today, Thanh Hóa's defense was solid and well-organized. However, thanks to the home advantage and our resilient fighting spirit, we secured the victory.
I want to thank all the Ninh Bình supporters who came to cheer us on in the stands. Gustavo had a very impressive game. The role of a striker is to score goals, and today our entire team played excellently, delivering a match of high quality both technically and tactically. From the goalkeeper to the forwards, everyone performed very well. Today’s match was truly a great display of Ninh Bình FC’s football skills."
Vietnamese overseas midfielder Đỗ Chung Nguyên started again and came on with 30 minutes remaining. The young midfielder’s performance was quite solid. Coach Gerard Albaladejo assessed that Đỗ Chung Nguyên has great potential and can develop further.
He shared: "Thành Trung (Đỗ Chung Nguyên) is a young player who is improving daily but still needs more time to adapt to the weather conditions. I believe he has great potential.
Chung Nguyên plays in midfield alongside Đức Chiến and Hoàng Đức. In my opinion, those two are among the best midfielders in Vietnam. Nevertheless, I hold Chung Nguyên in high regard. He is a young player with a lot of potential. He still has many opportunities to enhance his skills and career."
