On August 28th Beijing time, the third round of the Women's Volleyball World Championship group stage concluded. It was an effortless performance featuring excellent teamwork and multiple scoring threats. Mexico and the Dominican Republic contested a fierce battle for pride; the match was intense, like a clash of titans. Although Colombia twice leveled the score, they ultimately fell short in the deciding set, losing 2-3 to Mexico!
In Group G's two matches, Poland and Germany played a thrilling, closely contested match. The score margins were tight, but Poland was able to make the crucial plays under pressure, ultimately winning a hard-fought five-set thriller 3-2 to narrowly defeat Germany. This victory allowed Poland to claim first place and successfully avoid the title favorite Italy. Kenya faced Vietnam and launched a powerful attack, winning three straight sets 3-0 to claim their first victory and defend their honor!
In Group H's two matches, Japan and Serbia met in a high-profile showdown. Unexpectedly, Japan dominated Serbia, winning 3-1 and handing the defending champions their first defeat.
