Coach Le Duc Tuan thinks the current state is still not too bad for SHB Da Nang, and the team will adjust to reach improved objectives.
The SHB Da Nang club has yet to show positive progress this new season. After the first 3 rounds, the team from the Han River has only earned 1 point and lost the last 2 matches.
However, Coach Le Duc Tuan insists the current condition is not too bad.
“Compared to last season, the current situation is not too bad. With just one victory, we can completely change the situation. The entire team needs to use the upcoming time to improve finishing skills and cohesion in play. I believe SHB Da Nang can do it,” Coach Le Duc Tuan shared after the defeat against Ninh Binh.
Besides that, this strategist is considering some changes for Da Nang.
“Currently, we only play with one foreign striker. But I am thinking about using two foreign strikers to create more pressure on the opponent’s goal. As for our domestic players, their quality is only average to good; they need more cohesion and persistence.
We still lack persistence and experience, but the players’ effort is commendable. SHB Da Nang will continue to improve to meet the fans’ expectations,”Coach Le Duc Tuan said.
Soon, the V-League will pause for 3 weeks to make way for the Vietnam National Team and U23 Vietnam to focus on matches during the September FIFA Days. This period will allow Coach Le Duc Tuan to further prepare Da Nang, enhance skills, and get ready for the challenging journey ahead.
Last season, Da Nang also started very poorly with a long streak without wins and struggled at the bottom of the standings. It was only in the second phase that the team showed improvement and fought hard to remain in the V-League. Coach Le Duc Tuan surely does not want to repeat this in the coming time.
