Last night, Thanh Hóa Provincial Police urgently searched the workplace of Mr. Cao Tiến Đoan, chairman of Đông Á Thanh Hóa Football Club.

The Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Hóa Province announced that they executed an urgent search warrant at the workplace of Mr. Cao Tiến Đoan (born 1960, residing in Sầm Sơn ward, Thanh Hóa province), Chairman of the Board and General Director of Đông Á Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. (headquarters located at 1A Nguyễn Hiệu Street, Lê Lợi Boulevard, Hạc Thành ward, Thanh Hóa province) on the evening of August 28.

Earlier, the Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Hóa Province received a citizen’s report accusing Mr. Cao Tiến Đoan of legal violations. During the investigation, authorities confirmed that Mr. Cao Tiến Đoan violated accounting regulations causing serious consequences under Article 221 of the 2015 Penal Code.

Mr. Cao Tiến Đoan currently serves as Chairman of the Board and General Director of Đông Á Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. Moreover, he is a delegate of the Thanh Hóa Provincial People’s Council, a member of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People’s Council, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, and Chairman of the Đông Á Thanh Hóa Football Club.

The Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Hóa Province is investigating and clarifying the case to handle it according to legal regulations.
