From the 2025/26 season onward, Quy Nhơn Bình Định FC will adopt the new name Quy Nhon United along with a full rebranding.
On the evening of August 29, Quy Nhơn Bình Định officially informed fans about the name change following their relegation to the national First Division for the 2025/26 season. Specifically, the Võ land team will compete under the name Quy Nhon United FC starting this new season.
On their official website, Quy Nhon United FC shared:"After a season full of upheavals and challenges, when the team temporarily bids farewell to the V-League 1, it coincides with the homeland undergoing a new administrative transformation. Amid this flow, Quy Nhơn Bình Định FC chooses to move forward with a strong spirit of reform while fully preserving the essence that has created the pride of Võ land football. From the 25/26 season, the team will compete under the new name: Quy Nhon United FC."
"Quy Nhơn is not just a place name but a source of pride, a bond connecting hearts that share a love for the Võ land. United is a declaration of unity and connection with everyone who loves the club, cherishes the warrior spirit, generosity, and resilience of Võ land," the club explained the meaning behind the new name.
Alongside the name change, Quy Nhon United also unveiled a streamlined new logo that still retains core elements: the image of Emperor Quang Trung on horseback, a heroic symbol closely tied to Võ land football, integrated within a circular shape resembling the letter "Q," combining the emperor’s title and the name Quy Nhơn. The entire logo uses yellow and white colors.
With Quy Nhon United and a new image full of faith and hope, the club is ready to embark on a new chapter with determination, perseverance, and readiness for all challenges, the team declared.
