The Cong - Viettel shines, defeating Becamex TPHCM

(V-League Results) - Viettel, in outstanding form, continued their winning streak by beating Becamex TPHCM on home turf.

The Cong - Viettel convincingly won 2-0 over Becamex TPHCM in the third round of the 2025/26 V-League. The home team started energetically, constantly pressuring the opponent's goal. At the 10th minute, Pedro Henrique leapt for a close-range header but was denied by goalkeeper Minh Toan. Shortly after, the Brazilian foreign player threatened again with a shot that hit the post, signaling a spectacular performance ahead.

In the second half, Viettel capitalized on their advantage. At the 58th minute, Van Khang delivered a precise cross from the left wing, allowing Pedro Henrique to head the ball sharply and open the scoring. Not stopping there, at the 64th minute, Truong Tien Anh crossed effectively, and captain Bui Tien Dung rose powerfully to double the lead.

In the remaining minutes, Viettel played solidly, while TPHCM tried hard to find an equalizer but failed, even when Viet Cuong had a chance after goalkeeper Van Viet’s mistake.
