Foreign players dominate, goals from domestic players become increasingly rare in the V-League

The 3rd round of the 2025/26 V-League ended with statistics revealing that foreign players continue to overwhelmingly dominate the scoring charts, while the influence of domestic players is increasingly diminishing.

Out of the 19 goals scored this round, only 3 were by Vietnamese players, and notably, just one domestic striker scored – Nguyễn Thanh Nhàn of PVF CAND.
