With a star-studded squad, the club is eager for success and wants a head coach who is an authoritative figure capable of managing the locker room firmly and possesses strong tactical expertise. They want attractive, competitive football rather than just defensive counterattacks. After being rejected by Postecoglou, Spalletti, and Tedesco, Fenerbahçe quickly made contact with Zidane and held meetings. Zidane is interested in coaching Fenerbahçe and has agreed on a preliminary deal.
