The Japanese coach is pleased as Vietnam's U17 team qualifies for Asia's top tournament.

After the Vietnam U17 women's team officially secured their place in the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup finals, coach Okiyama Masahiko and his players expressed their satisfaction at achieving the set objective.

Coach Okiyama Masahiko said: "Firstly, we secured two victories, thus accomplishing the goal of qualifying for the final tournament. The team stayed focused and did not concede any goals in both matches. I am very proud of the team's spirit and effort."
