Coach Alonso points out Juventus' most dangerous 'drill'.

Coach Xabi Alonso shared important comments before Real Madrid hosts Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid aims for a third consecutive win in the group stage UEFA Champions League the 2025/26 season with a home game against Juventus early tomorrow morning (Vietnam time).

In the pre-match press conference, Coach Xabi Alonso confirmed Los Blancos' target to secure three points and emphasized the formidable strength of the Turin club.

Specifically, the Spanish tactician stated: "Tomorrow's match is a classic showdown in European football. Juventus is one of the top clubs that have contributed to the greatness of this sport. We have faced them many times. I still recall matches I watched on TV as well as the occasions I played against them on the pitch.

We are preparing very well for this game. The whole team is eager to achieve a third Champions League victory and aim for a strong start, which is what we desire. We also greatly need the support from our fans.

Whenever fans come to Bernabeu, they bring special excitement to witness big matches, and tomorrow’s game is certainly one of those. Hopefully, they will fully enjoy it, and we must deliver emotions worthy of their passionate response."

Regarding the opponent, Alonso believes Juventus is in good form despite their recent loss to Como in Serie A. The 43-year-old coach also identified Juventus' most dangerous attacking player to warn his squad for the upcoming match.

He said: "Until three weeks ago, they maintained very impressive form. I still remember the match against Inter; it was truly a fantastic victory. Although recent results haven't been ideal, we remain fully focused and cautious for tomorrow’s game. Any Italian team going through a tough phase can become twice as dangerous.

We must not forget their history. They have many quality players who know how to compete. Yildiz is one of them, showing remarkable progress both at Juventus and with the Turkish national team. When I was working at Bayern, he was still in the youth squad, and I am genuinely happy to witness his development."

So far, Yildiz is considered an irreplaceable star in Juventus’ lineup under Igor Tudor. The 2005-born player has appeared 9 times across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists. However, Juventus has only managed two draws in this year's Champions League group stage, and their trip to Bernabeu promises to bring further challenges for the Serie A side.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues to show excellent form in Europe with two wins and currently ranks eighth in the standings. Therefore, securing the next three points will help the Royal Club catch up with PSG, Inter, Arsenal, and Dortmund, all of whom have collected nine points from three matches, greatly boosting their chances of advancing past the group stage.
