PSG approves a 150 million Euro budget for Europe's top striker

PSG is ready to invest 150 million Euros to sign Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker excelling with Galatasaray, aiming to address Luis Enrique’s need for a central forward.

Paris Saint-Germain plans a major move in the transfer market by being willing to pay up to 150 million Euros to sign striker Victor Osimhen, who is currently causing a sensation in Turkey with Galatasaray.

Under coach Luis Enrique, PSG has many quality attacking players on the wings like Dembele and Kvaratskhelia, but lacks a true striker who can decide matches.

Although Goncalo Ramos has improved his form, he has not fully earned the trust of the Spanish coach. Therefore, Enrique has requested the club management to bring in a top-class “number 9,” with Osimhen being the ideal choice.

Osimhen is not unfamiliar to French football. He shone at Lille, where his goal-scoring talent was discovered, then quickly moved to Napoli, becoming a Serie A icon. After a brilliant period in Italy, the Nigerian striker transferred to Galatasaray and continued his impressive form.

So far, Osimhen has scored 9 goals in 11 matches, averaging nearly one goal every 80 minutes. These impressive stats explain why PSG is ready to spend heavily to bring him back to Ligue 1.

Besides his diverse goal-scoring ability, Osimhen stands out for his speed, strength, and finishing skills with both feet. At 26 years old, he is considered to be at the peak of his career.

According to Turkish media, Galatasaray has no intention of letting their star player leave. The club values Osimhen as an asset both in sports and commercially and will only negotiate if they receive an offer of at least 150 million Euros.

Nevertheless, PSG believes that the appeal of their sporting project in Paris, along with the chance to compete in the Champions League, can convince Osimhen and pressure Galatasaray to reconsider.

With his experience playing in Ligue 1, Osimhen is expected to quickly adapt and become a perfect fit for the capital club’s ambition to revive its glory.
