However, behind the confidence and glamour, Ronaldo also revealed the downsides of fame: “I can’t go anywhere without being recognized. It’s tiring. Believe me, I wish I weren’t so famous. I never wanted fame; I just wanted success. But this level is really too much.” This statement reveals a different side of Ronaldo — the person, not just the global icon.
