Slovenia must defeat Kosovo on Saturday and then secure at least a draw away against Sweden on November 18 to keep their hopes alive for a World Cup qualifying playoff spot, which goes to the team finishing second in the group.
Slovenia currently sit third in Group B with three points, behind Switzerland (10 points) and Kosovo (seven points). Sweden have one point.
