The Brazilian, who sustained an injury during training before the Everton match, remains sidelined along with striker Benjamin Sesko and defender Harry Maguire.
"Sesko needs a bit more time. Harry is the same. Matheus might be available for the next game, but not this one," Amorim stated on Friday.
United sit 10th with 18 points, just two points behind fifth-placed Palace.
Despite a five-match unbeaten streak before Monday, Amorim remains dissatisfied.
"When I review the matches, we should have earned more points," he commented, referring to draws against Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest. "We controlled some games, held advantages, but lost that grip.
"That is truly disappointing and frustrating, especially in the last match."

After Monday's defeat, Amorim said his squad was far from where they should be.
Asked how to prevent a downward spiral like last season, when they finished 15th, he replied: "We must realize that, particularly in this league this year, things can change very quickly. So we move forward and concentrate on the next game.
"We have to feel the urgency to win matches; we all know what happens around the club if we fail to do so."
United have won only once away in their last 11 games.
"It's difficult to single out one reason for our away struggles. There are many areas we're working to improve. We need to learn how to close out matches to secure victories," Amorim explained.
"I sensed that during this season, our intensity at home was higher, but in Monday's home game, the intensity wasn't up to par. So that’s something we must address."
