Coach Roland couldn’t hide his happiness as he led Vietnam’s U17 team to qualify for the 2026 U17 Asian Championship.
Following Vietnam U17’s impressive 4-0 victory over Malaysia U17 securing their spot at the 2026 U17 Asian Championship final tournament, Brazilian coach Cristiano Roland shared heartfelt thoughts about his players’ performance. He affirmed that the team fully deserved this result and once again demonstrated their true strength.
Coach Roland stated: “We earned everything we achieved. We proved that we are very strong. As I said from the start, our mindset is always to take it one match at a time. We plan carefully, show the players the path, and they follow it.”
Expressing pride in his players, he emphasized: “I am a very happy coach. My role is to teach and guide them. And they executed everything excellently. They are truly amazing. Every single player on my team deserves congratulations.”
Coach Roland confirmed that Vietnam U17’s goal remains to stay focused on each match: “I always prepare them for every scenario, and they trust and carry out what I teach. Today’s result proves we are a very strong team.”
Alongside the joy of victory, Coach Roland thanked the supporters: “At this moment, the most important thing is that I am very happy and satisfied. They did everything I asked and believed in my guidance. I am grateful to the fans who came to the stadium.”
He also shared his upcoming work plans: “I have met my goals and completed my duties with the Vietnam U17 team. Tomorrow, I will return to work at Hanoi Club to prepare the U19 team with 14 days before the National U19 Championship. I’m happy, but tomorrow marks a new challenge.”
