The U22 Vietnam squad arrived in Bangkok, Thailand this afternoon on December 1st, officially starting their campaign to claim the gold medal in men’s football at SEA Games 33 in 2025.
According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the organizing committee’s support team coordinated to facilitate the team’s quick immigration process, ensuring convenience for the entire squad on travel day.

Representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, including Counselor Hoang Diem Hanh and embassy staff, personally greeted the team at the airport, presented flowers, and extended wishes for U22 Vietnam to achieve their set goals and contribute to the overall success of Vietnamese sports atSEA Games 33.
According to the SEA Games 33 organizing committee’s arrangements, U22 Vietnam will stay at The Quarter Ramkhamhaeng by UHG hotel. This location is also chosen for the host team U22 Thailand and group B opponent U22 Laos.
Right after settling into their accommodation, the entire team took the opportunity to have a light meal and rest briefly before their first training session at 5:00 PM the same day. This training aimed to help players loosen up after traveling and get accustomed to the weather, field conditions, and new daily routine in Bangkok.
