Sarina Bolden has recovered from injury and rejoined the Philippines women's national team ahead of SEA Games 33.
Sarina Bolden has returned to training with the Philippines women's football team after a long injury treatment period.
She has recovered and resumed training with the Philippines team during preparations forSEA Games 33in Thailand, which is about to begin, as well as the Asian Cup finals in March 2026.
Bolden, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury earlier in 2025, was named in the November call-up and is actively reintegrating into the competition system after a long absence.

Coach Mark Torcaso said Bolden's return has gone very smoothly as she quickly regained her pace and promises, if her fitness is maintained, to help the Philippines team strengthen their chances of competing for medals in Thailand.
"She is in very good shape, it feels like she never left the team. She brings many smiles and positive energy to the whole squad," Coach Torcaso shared with the media at the launch event for the Philippines team's 2025–2026 kit at the adidas Football store in Pasay.
"She has always been a special element in our lineup." Bolden is a pillar of the Philippines team, currently holding the position as the top scorer in the team's history.
With second top scorer Quinley Quezada recently announcing her pregnancy, the return of this Filipino-American forward is very timely.
"She is still in the recovery process and gradually regaining her form. Hopefully, we will soon have her back playing to represent the country," Coach Torcaso said.
Not only Bolden, but many other players are also ready to participate even though SEA Games is not part of the FIFA calendar.
The Philippines team aims to win the gold medal after securing bronze at SEA Games 31 in Vietnam in 2022. The Philippines team will need all available resources.
"Everything is progressing positively. We are observing many players. The training sessions so far have been very good," Torcaso, attending SEA Games for the first time as head coach of the Philippines team, said.
"The players are performing excellently. We have had three training sessions and are striving to select the most suitable squad for SEA Games."
The Philippines team is in Group B, where they will face familiar opponents: Myanmar, Vietnam, and Malaysia. The Philippines team needs to finish in the top two of the group stage to qualify for the knockout round.
The Philippines team will start their gold medal campaign at SEA Games 33in Chonburi on December 5 against Myanmar.
