Although favored, U22 Vietnam struggled in the early minutes against U22 Laos’ deep defensive line. It wasn’t until the 29th minute that the deadlock was broken. Minh Phúc’s fast run and precise cross from the right wing allowed Đình Bắc to time his run perfectly and tap the ball in close range to open the scoring.
