Vietnam Football Federation leaders visit two players who missed the SEA Games

Leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation visited several players undergoing injury treatment and unable to participate in SEA Games 33.

On December 3rd and 4th, representatives from the Vietnam Football Federation leadership personally visited two injured players, Nguyễn Văn Trường and Nguyễn Thị Vạn.

On the afternoon of December 4th, Secretary General Nguyễn Văn Phú visited female midfielder Nguyễn Thị Vạn (national women's team) who is receiving injury treatment at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.

During training with the national women's team preparing for SEA Games 33, Nguyễn Thị Vạn suffered a fractured left collarbone and was forced to withdraw from the tournament. Her absence also impacted the midfield of the national women's team, especially given the absence of Chương Thị Kiều (due to injury) and Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Dung (who has transitioned to coaching).

On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation leadership, Secretary General Nguyễn Văn Phú encouraged Nguyễn Thị Vạn to follow the treatment plan prescribed by Vinmec hospital doctors to recover quickly and return to the field to continue contributing. Currently, Vạn is wearing a stabilizing brace and performing static leg exercises. Her return to training will depend on her recovery progress and medical assessments.

Earlier, on the afternoon of December 3rd, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Xuân Vũ and Secretary General Nguyễn Văn Phú visited the Hanoi Club training center to see player Nguyễn Văn Trường, who is undergoing treatment after surgery.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Xuân Vũ extended words of encouragement, inquired about Văn Trường’s health, and motivated him to stay positive and work hard on rehabilitation to return to the field soon and continue contributing to Vietnamese football. The Vietnam Football Federation will continue to support Hanoi Club in providing the best conditions for Nguyễn Văn Trường to recover quickly and return to the field, contributing to Vietnamese football.

Secretary General Nguyễn Văn Phú conveyed the regards of VFF Chairman Trần Quốc Tuấn to the player, and discussed with doctors and specialists about Văn Trường’s recovery process. He encouraged Văn Trường to confidently follow the medical treatment plan to achieve the best results.
