"If this benefits the players later in the game, we must consider it," Tuchel told BBC Sport on Thursday.

"No one likes it because I want the players to be out there, feeling the atmosphere and bringing that energy from the bench onto the field. But I saw players doing this at the Club World Cup. Hopefully, we can avoid it," the coach added.

Extreme heat was a significant concern at the Club World Cup in the U.S. last June, when medical professionals and players' unions raised worries about heat stress, dehydration, and slower recovery times.

Tuchel acknowledged this would pose challenges for top-level football, saying it would lower the intensity of games in the global tournament co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

"You cannot play the same style of football at 45°C as you can at 21°C. We need to adjust and prepare the players as best as possible," he added.

Despite these difficulties, Tuchel showed increasing confidence in England’s chances.

"I am more optimistic than ever that this team can win the tournament, as we have become closer and stronger. We are arriving with the biggest ambition," he stated.

England won all eight of their qualifying matches, scoring 22 goals and conceding none. They are in pot one for Friday's draw, meaning as one of the top four seeds, they will avoid facing France, Spain, or Argentina before the semi-finals, provided all four top seeds win their groups.

"We have to wait for the draw, but we already have a clear idea of who we want to face. We are getting closer. I believe we are getting stronger. The goal is to arrive in June with a strong squad, focusing on the team and its spirit," he concluded.
