Meunier aims to leave United in the January 2026 window to join Napoli and compete in Serie A and the Champions League, boosting his chances of making England’s 2026 World Cup squad. However, this depends on him getting regular playing time and performing well. Due to Africa Cup absences, United is reluctant to let Meunier go in winter, but the player is strongly determined to leave.
