Facing the Philippines again in the final, Coach Mai Đức Chung confirms that the Vietnam team will fix their weaknesses against the Philippines and aim to win.

"The Vietnam women's team truly deserves to be in the final. In the last match at the SEA Games, we will try our best with all the ability we have. The Philippines is a very strong team; Vietnam will strive to win.

I have great respect for the Philippines women's team as they have gotten better and defeated the host Thailand. I know the Philippines have much more physical strength and stature than the Vietnam team. Our entire team will work hard to overcome weaknesses against the Philippines to perform well in the final.
