Nguyễn Đình Bắc recently shared, for the first time, an official photo holding the 2025 Vietnam Silver Ball along with the award for Best Male Young Player of the Year.
This was due to the tight match schedule of the Vietnam U23 team at the 2026 U23 Asian Championship finals. During the 2025 Vietnam Golden Ball Gala held on the evening of December 26 in Ho Chi Minh City, Đình Bắc was fully focused with the U23 Vietnam team on their continental campaign. Unable to attend the Gala, the Hanoi Police Club forward could only receive his awards later, after completing his international duties.
At the 2025 Vietnam Golden Ball Gala, Nguyễn Đình Bắc was announced as the Silver Ball winner, ranking just behind Nguyễn Hoàng Đức. He was also honored as the Best Male Young Player of the Year, recognizing an outstanding and consistent season.
In the year 2025, Đình Bắc played a crucial role in helping U23 Vietnam win the U23 Southeast Asian Championship, was a key player for the U22 Vietnam team that secured the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games, and also performed impressively for Hanoi Police Club in domestic and regional competitions. His remarkable development, energetic playing style, and strong ability to create breakthroughs earned Đình Bắc significant trust from experts during the Golden Ball voting.
Not limited to domestic accolades, Đình Bắc’s journey at the 2026 U23 Asian Championship finals left an even more remarkable mark. Wearing jersey number 7, the forward exploded in performance, becoming the most effective attacking weapon for the red-shirted team. With 4 goals and 2 assists, Đình Bắc officially claimed the top scorer title of the 2026 U23 Asian Championship, surpassing many of the continent’s leading forwards thanks to his outstanding efficiency on the field.
Notably, Đình Bắc achieved this feat despite having fewer minutes played compared to his direct competitors. This highlights his ability to capitalize on opportunities, sharp finishing skills, and increasingly mature football intelligence. A Vietnamese player leading the scoring chart at the U23 Asian Championship is a significant milestone, reflecting the clear progress of Vietnam’s youth football on the continental stage.
