Life is unpredictable. The Brazilian striker Endrick, rejected by former Real Madrid manager Alonso, is now excelling in Ligue 1, while Alonso has been sacked by Real Madrid. Endrick has once again proven that relocating can revive a career.
In this round of Ligue 1, Lyon won 5-2 away against Lens! Endrick, loaned from Real Madrid in the winter transfer window, started the game and delivered an outstanding performance with six shots, all on target, scoring his first career hat-trick. After the match, the media awarded Endrick a perfect 10 out of 10.

Endrick has also set a new record as the youngest player in Lyon’s history to score a hat-trick in Ligue 1, at 19 years and 188 days old. The previous record was held by Bernard Lacombe, who was 19 years and 196 days old.

Endrick, currently 19 years old, stands 1.73 meters tall, is left-footed, and primarily plays as a center forward but can also operate as a second striker or winger. He is contracted with Real Madrid until 2030 and is valued at 25 million euros by Transfermarkt. This season, Endrick couldn’t get playing time under Alonso at Real Madrid and was loaned to Ligue 1 strong side Lyon during the winter window. He has appeared twice in Ligue 1, both as a starter, scoring three goals and providing one assist, and once in the French Cup, scoring once. In total, he has played three matches for Lyon, scoring four goals and assisting once, showing great efficiency. Endrick aims to score more goals at Lyon to secure a spot for Brazil in the World Cup qualifiers for the Americas region.
