U23 Vietnam stirs excitement as V-League returns, spotlight on CAHN vs Ninh Binh

Following a break of over two months to accommodate the U23 Vietnam team’s participation in the SEA Games and the 2026 U23 Asian Championship, the 2025/26 V-League will officially restart this weekend. The league’s comeback takes place in a special context, as Vietnam’s youth football has recently earned remarkable achievements at regional and continental levels.

Winning the SEA Games title along with a bronze medal at the U23 Asian Championship is expected to generate a positive ripple effect, helping to ignite enthusiasm for domestic football. Statistics show that the match likely featuring the most U23 Vietnam players will be the clash between CAHN Club and Ninh Binh at Hang Day Stadium on the evening of February 1, with seven players from both teams. The home side has three players: Dinh Bac, Ly Duc, and Minh Phuc, while the visitors Ninh Binh boast four U23s: Quoc Viet, Le Phat, and two new additions Thai Son and Van Thuan from Dong A Thanh Hoa Club. The game is even more thrilling as both teams are fiercely competing for the top spot.

In the other six matches, the U23 Vietnam players are also expected to make an impact: Viktor Le in the Ha Tinh vs Becamex TPHCM match, while SLNA faces Hanoi with Pham Dinh Hai, Cao Van Binh, and Le Van Ha.
