Enzo Alves, son of former player Marcelo, has officially signed his first professional contract with Real Madrid.
Recently, Enzo Alves, son of former player Marcelo, has just formally signed a professional contract with Real Madrid. The standout striker from the La Fabrica academy has finalized a long-term deal with the Royal Club, including release clauses and protective terms fitting his new status as a professional player.
Enzo’s progress at Valdebebas is considered highly impressive. With a strong physique, powerful playing style, and high creativity, he quickly drew attention and consistently ranked among the favored players by coaches. Last season, at just 15 years old, Enzo was promoted to the Juvenil A team and immediately made an impact in a “mini derby” match. This season, under Álvaro Arbeloa’s guidance when he was coaching Castilla, Enzo was given the chance to debut with the reserve team in a match against Man City at the Premier League International Cup.
Enzo shared his joy about signing his first professional deal on social media, where he has two million followers on Instagram, with a brief but heartfelt message: “Happy to sign my first professional contract. Hala Madrid”.
Not only proving his ability with Real Madrid, the 2009-born rising star has also impressed at the national team level. His talent has been highly valued by the Spanish Football Federation, shown by being captain of youth teams and receiving his first call-up to the U17 squad in March, despite being younger than most teammates. In his second match against Austria, Enzo made a strong impression with a goal and an assist, further confirming his great potential.
Meanwhile, Marcelo is regarded as one of the greatest left-backs in Real Madrid’s history. Joining the Royal Club in 2007, he stayed for 15 seasons and became an icon of a highly successful era. Marcelo appeared in 546 matches, scored 38 goals, and contributed 104 assists thanks to his excellent attacking support.
During his time at Real Madrid, he won a total of 25 titles, including 5 Champions League trophies, 6 La Liga championships, and 4 FIFA Club World Cups.
