Defeating PVF CAND, SLNA Claims the U19 National Championship

A nail-biting win against PVF-CAND enabled Sông Lam Nghệ An to become champions of the U19 National Football Championship – Modern Cup 2025/26.

This season’s final was a showdown between PVF-CAND and Sông Lam Nghệ An. The Nghệ An team impressed with a flawless winning record, but their opponents had the same achievement. After the kickoff, PVF-CAND, enjoying home advantage, played with great enthusiasm.

However, coach Hoàng Tuấn Anh’s squad faced a well-organized defense from Sông Lam Nghệ An. Hoàng Minh Hợi continued to stand out in midfield, yet it wasn’t enough for Sông Lam Nghệ An to break the deadlock. The first half ended with a balanced scoreline.
