The physical fitness test involved 51 referees and assistant referees, with 50 passing and only one assistant referee failing the test.
Besides physical assessments, instructors reviewed the rules, discussed professional matters, and drew lessons from analyzing VAR situations in the first half of the 2025/26 season. The Referees Committee aims to enhance officiating quality and reduce VAR interruptions in the next phase.

He emphasized that refereeing plays a crucial role in the professional quality, image, and reputation of national football competitions, and urged the officials to continue improving their skills, updating knowledge, and strengthening their decision-making confidence.
After completing the training, referees who meet the standards will continue to be assigned to officiate in V.League 1 starting from matchday 12 on January 30. According to plans, the second training session for supervisors and referees of the National First Division is expected to take place in March 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
