The team of Hiểu Minh and Thanh Nhàn continues to add foreign players

PVF CAND has brought in their second foreign player in just a few days, this time signing Scottish midfielder Reynolds.

Midfielder Alastair David Reynolds has officially become a new member of PVF CAND club. The Scottish player specializes in the central midfield position. Born in 1996, Alastair Reynolds began his football journey at the youth academy of Hibernian FC (Scotland). At 9 years old, he moved with his family to Cyprus and continued pursuing his football passion with Apollon Limassol.

Before arriving in Vietnam, Reynolds played for several clubs in Cyprus, most recently Akritas Chlorakas, gaining extensive experience in European football. With his professional background, experience, and solid playing style, Alastair Reynolds is expected to bring stability, depth, and quality to PVF CAND’s midfield in the upcoming period.

This marks the second foreign player recruited by PVF CAND in just a few days. The V-League newcomer is determined to strengthen its squad after a challenging start to the season. Previously, they signed defender Lucas Turci as a replacement for Hiểu Minh, who suffered a serious injury.

Brazilian defender Lucas Henrique Turci (born 1996) has officially joined PVF-CAND. He developed in the Brazilian football system and has played for clubs such as São Paulo, Corinthians, and Cruzeiro.

Lucas has playing experience in Brazil, Germany, the USA, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, and won two titles with Duhok (Iraq) in 2025. It is hoped that Lucas Turci will quickly integrate and become a key strength for the team, helping to reinforce the defense as PVF-CAND aims for its upcoming goals.

Earlier, PVF CAND also decided to make changes on the coaching bench by parting ways with coach Thạch Bảo Khanh and signing coach Nguyễn Thành Công. Unfortunately, in the recent 12th round of the V-League, Coach Nguyễn Thành Công made his debut leading PVF CAND but lost 1-2 to CA TP HCM.
