The Disciplinary Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation has just handed down 4 sanctions to teams and individuals before the 13th round of the 2025/26 V-League.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation recently imposed a series of penalties on clubs and individuals prior to the 13th round of the 2025/26 V-League.
Specifically, The Viettel Sports Club was fined 20,000,000 VND (Twenty million Vietnamese Dong) for starting the match late beyond the scheduled time, violating the Professional Football Regulations during the round 12 match on January 31 at Lach Tray Stadium.
Meanwhile, Dong A Thanh Hoa Club and Da Nang Club were each fined 3,000,000 VND (Three million Vietnamese Dong) due to having 6 players receiving yellow cards in their round 12 matches against Nam Dinh Club and HAGL respectively.
The final penalty was given to Coach Albadalejo Castano Gerard of Ninh Binh Club for his reaction towards the referee during the round 12 match between CAHN and Ninh Binh at Hang Day Stadium. The Spanish coach was fined 10,000,000 VND (Ten million Vietnamese Dong) and suspended from duties for the next 2 matches.
According to the schedule, matches for round 13 of the V-League will take place on February 7, 8, and 9, 2026. Afterward, the league will pause for about 2 weeks to observe the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday. The competition will resume on February 24, 2026 (the 8th day of Tet) with the postponed round 10 match at Thien Truong Stadium, followed by the round 14 fixtures.
