Goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh officially reached the milestone of 100 appearances for Thep Xanh Nam Dinh Club.
During the match between Thep Xanh Nam Dinh and Johor Darul Ta'zim Club on the evening of February 6, goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh marked his 100th game wearing the Nam Dinh team jersey. Born in 1991 and serving as captain, he continued to guard the goal in this significant personal milestone at Thien Truong Stadium.
Since joining Thep Xanh Nam Dinh, Nguyen Manh has been a consistent first-choice goalkeeper. After 100 games, he has kept 33 clean sheets and achieved 51 victories. He contributed to two consecutive V-League championships in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, as well as the 2024 National Super Cup title. In the National Cup competition, he also played a part in helping the Nam Dinh team secure the bronze medal in the 2023/24 season.
Besides team achievements, Nguyen Manh has also made a mark individually by being selected in the V-League 2023 Best XI and ranking among the top 3 nominees for the season’s Best Player. These recognitions highlight his role and influence within Thep Xanh Nam Dinh’s playing system.
The 100-match milestone not only marks Tran Nguyen Manh’s long-term commitment to the Nam Dinh team but also reflects the captain’s prominent status in the current squad of Thep Xanh Nam Dinh.
