Goalkeeper Patrik Lê Giang took a deeply significant action after officially becoming a Vietnamese citizen.
Goalkeeper Patrik Lê Giang continued to leave a positive impression on fans by deciding to auction the first jersey he wore after officially becoming a Vietnamese citizen, with all proceeds donated to charity.
On his personal page, Patrik Lê Giang expressed: “Hello everyone, recently I was truly honored to participate in my first match as a Vietnamese citizen.” According to the goalkeeper born in 1992, this was not only a significant milestone in his career but also a moment filled with personal meaning after a long time living and playing in Vietnam.
To commemorate this event, Patrik stated: “I want to hold a small auction featuring the jersey I wore in that very first match.” All the money raised from the auction will be used for charitable purposes. Specifically, “all funds collected will be donated to orphans and disadvantaged children in Phu Thuan Ward (formerly District 7), Ho Chi Minh City - where I currently live and work.”
According to the plan, this special jersey will be personally handed over by Patrik Lê Giang to the auction winner before the upcoming home match against Dong A Thanh Hoa Club. The goalkeeper also extended his thanks to the fans: “Thank you all for your constant support and companionship. Every participation from you means a great deal to me.”

Beyond showing his dedication on the field, Patrik Lê Giang’s act of auctioning his jersey for charity also reflects his sense of responsibility and desire to contribute to the community, as he shared: “Together, we will create small acts of kindness every day.”
