Vietnam U23 striker shares about an amazing year just passed

Nguyễn Thanh Nhàn wrapped up a remarkable season with a standout display in the PVF-CAND jersey, contributing to breaking a series of poor results and setting sights on loftier ambitions.

Striker Nguyễn Thanh Nhàn admitted he has just closed a special year of competition that was unforgettable in his career, consistently making an impact at both club and national team levels, before shining again with PVF-CAND.

After a short break in the previous round where he played only 45 minutes, Thanh Nhàn was given a starting role by the coach in the match against Becamex TP.HCM. The Tây Ninh native immediately justified the trust with energetic play on the left wing, constantly pressuring the opponent’s defense. His highlight was the decisive assist that allowed Thái Bá Đạt to score the winning goal, securing a 2-1 victory for PVF-CAND.

After the match, Thanh Nhàn expressed his happiness reflecting on the past year’s journey. “The past year has truly been wonderful for me. But I always remind myself to stay grounded and work even harder in the future.”, the 2003-born striker said.

According to Thanh Nhàn, starting the match and directly contributing to the win gave him many positive emotions. “Today, I feel very happy and proud to have performed well and helped PVF-CAND secure the victory.”, he added.

The match against Becamex TP.HCM also marked the end of a successful year for Thanh Nhàn. Over the past year, he became a hero for Vietnam U23 at the SEA Games, playing a key role in winning the gold medal, before continuing to be an important figure in securing third place at the 2026 U23 Asian Championship.

For Thanh Nhàn personally, this victory was especially meaningful as it helped PVF-CAND end an 11-match streak of draws and losses at home during the 2025–2026 season. “I think finishing the year with such a win is very significant, not only for me but for the whole team.”, he emphasized.

Notably, Thanh Nhàn’s family was also present in the stands to watch him play. After the match, the young striker sent a heartfelt thank you: “I sincerely thank my family and all PVF-CAND supporters who have always followed and supported me.”. At the same time, he affirmed that his personal and the team’s goal is to keep training hard and playing steadily to aim for the highest possible position on the leaderboard.
