Vietnam women's national team gets accustomed to the field ahead of the friendly match with China's women's national team in Shenzhen.
On the evening of February 9, the Vietnam women's team took a walk to get used to the stadium at the Shenzhen Football Youth Training Center (China), the venue where the friendly match between Vietnam and China's women's teams will take place on February 10.
Earlier, the entire team had a training session at 6:30 PM (local time) to adapt to the weather conditions and match timing. This was an important preparation step to ensure the players are in the best condition before the game kicks off at 6:00 PM on February 10 (Vietnam time).
After the stadium familiarization, midfielder Nguyễn Thị Thanh Nhã stated that the conditions in Shenzhen are quite good, which benefits the playing style of both teams. “The pitch is excellent. Since being in Vietnam, the team has focused on tactical and physical training. Upon arriving in China, the team continued practicing competitive drills to improve agility and build strength. This friendly with China is a chance for us to gain more international match experience,” Thanh Nhã shared.
Thanh Nhã also openly acknowledged areas for improvement for herself and the team. She believes the Vietnam women's team still needs to enhance fitness and address existing weaknesses to achieve long-term goals. “In the near future, the Vietnam women's team will compete in the Asian Women's Football Championship finals. We hope fans will continue to support and cheer for the team.”
Regarding the opponent for tomorrow's friendly, Thanh Nhã considers the China women's team to be physically strong and technically skilled. Therefore, the team will give their utmost effort and play with the highest determination in the upcoming match.
The friendly between Vietnam and China women's national teams will be held at 6:00 PM on February 10 (Vietnam time) at the Shenzhen Football Youth Training Center stadium.
