Thanh Nhã's assessment of the Chinese opponent before the match

Thanh Nhã holds the Chinese women's team in high esteem and mentioned that the Vietnam team will concentrate intensely for this friendly game.

On the evening of February 10, the Vietnam women's team will play their first friendly match against the Chinese women's team as part of their training camp in Shenzhen.

Earlier, on February 9, the whole team had a session to familiarize themselves with the stadium. Midfielder Thanh Nhã shared: "The playing field is excellent. Since being in Vietnam, the team has focused on tactical and physical training. Upon arriving in China, the team continued practicing competitive drills, improving agility, and building strength. The friendly match against China is an opportunity for the team to gain more international match experience," Thanh Nhã expressed.

The player born in 2001 also openly acknowledged areas for improvement for herself and the entire team. According to her, the Vietnam women's team still needs to enhance their fitness and address existing weaknesses to pursue their long-term goals: "In the near future, the Vietnam women's team will compete in the final round of the AFC Women's Asian Cup. We hope fans will continue to support and cheer for the Vietnam women's team."

Regarding the host opponent, Thanh Nhã believes the Chinese women's team has strong physical stature and possesses high technical and tactical skills. Therefore, the entire team will give their best effort and play with the highest determination in the upcoming match.

After the match on February 10, the two teams are expected to play another game on February 13. These matches are anticipated to provide valuable tests, helping the coaching staff evaluate the squad, review the lineup, and adjust tactics ahead of the finals of the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup.
