Defender Doan Van Hau has fully healed from his injury and is set to take the field in the upcoming game between CAHN and Tampines Rovers in the ACL Two 2025/26 competition.
At noon on February 10, the head coaches and players from both teams CAHN and Tampines Rovers held a press conference ahead of the match scheduled for the evening of February 11.
Notably, from the CAHN club, defender Doan Van Hau attended the press event. It is known that the player born in 1999 has recovered from the injury sustained in the match against Ninh Binh club, making him ready to compete: “I am very prepared for tomorrow's game," Doan Van Hau stated.
“As a player, the goal when stepping onto the pitch is always to win. We will give our best effort to secure victory and gain an advantage at home before heading to the away match. Hopefully, the whole team will achieve a good result,”Van Hau emphasized.
In the match against Ninh Binh club in round 12 of the V-League, Van Hau delivered an impressive performance on the left flank. He contributed by winning a penalty after a header caused the ball to hit the opponent’s hand, then provided a direct cross that helped his teammate complete the goal to increase the lead. His energetic display showed that the condition and ball control of the 1.86m tall defender are back on track.
As for himself, coach Mano Polking does not become complacent despite the previous 6-1 victory over the opponent Tampines. He said:
“After the loss on February 4, Tampines Rovers will definitely make many changes. They will analyze the match to seek the best possible outcome. We will do the same; before the match, the whole team reviewed our strengths, what we have done well to maintain our style and advantages that we have built over the past year.”
The first leg match between CAHN and Tampines Rovers will take place at 19:15 on February 11. On February 18, the two teams will play the second leg in Singapore.
