CAHN dominated with a convincing 4-0 win over Tampines Rovers, putting one foot in the ACL Two quarterfinals. The highlight was Quang Hải’s brace and the young talent Đình Bắc’s goal sealing the victory late in the game.
Tampines started proactively, creating a good game flow in the first 10 minutes, even firing early shots that made the home defense alert. However, after this period, CAHN quickly tightened their formation, regained control, and dominated the rest of the first half.
The turning point came in the 24th minute when Leo Artur unleashed a powerful long-range shot forcing the opposing goalkeeper to parry, allowing Quang Hải to follow up and open the scoring. Just 3 minutes later, midfielder number 19 struck again. From a right-wing counterattack, Alan crossed for Leo Artur to set a screen, enabling Quang Hải to slip past a defender and calmly finish with a precise angled shot, completing his brace.
In the 36th minute, CAHN’s pressure resulted in the third goal. Leo Artur’s long shot caused confusion in Tampines’ defense, and China quickly capitalized on the rebound to score, ending the first half with a large lead for the hosts.
In the second half, CAHN slowed the pace and gave opportunities to several young players. Đình Bắc, Văn Đô, and other newcomers brought energy and speed to the attack. After missing a few chances, in stoppage time, Đình Bắc confidently maneuvered inside the box, shook off a defender, and neatly finished to seal the 4-0 win.
This result puts CAHN one step away from the ACL Two quarterfinals before the second leg on February 18 at Tampines Rovers’ Jalan Besar stadium.

For viewers’ convenience, we will update detailed match progress and results of CAHN vs Tampines Rovers in this article.
CAHN will face Tampines Rovers again in the Round of 16 in the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26 with a very different context from their last encounter. Although CAHN won 6-1 in the Shopee Cup, that result didn’t reflect the true strength as Tampines Rovers fielded a weakened squad and the match was merely procedural.
In reality, the Singaporean side has shown strong form on the continental stage. Tampines Rovers remain unbeaten in all 6 group matches of ACL Two, with 5 wins and 1 draw, including a win and a draw against Pohang Steelers. Their balanced, well-organized play, scoring 16 goals and conceding only 4, suggests they will pose significant challenges to CAHN.
On the home side, Coach Polking acknowledged that Tampines Rovers will make adjustments after their previous loss and noted that CAHN has thoroughly analyzed their opponent’s strengths to maintain their playing style developed over the past year. Vietnam’s representative also received good news with Đoàn Văn Hậu returning from injury, strengthening squad depth.
Given the knockout nature and the desire to gain an advantage before the second leg, both teams are likely to start cautiously. CAHN has home advantage, while Tampines Rovers bring stable form and international experience. The first leg is expected to be tense and unlikely to repeat the one-sided 6-1 outcome.
