In an interview with VOV.VN on the morning of February 12, Mr. Đệ confessed that his desire to contribute to his homeland has never faded. If he were still physically able, especially in terms of health, he would want to continue serving and supporting his beloved team.

However, reality does not permit this. At over 70 years old, he must accept his personal limits. His spirit remains strong, but his physical condition no longer meets the demands and pressures of managing a professional football club.

He also shared that after the match against SHB Đà Nẵng, he had to rush to Bạch Mai Hospital for examination and treatment. Health issues prevent him from continuing to shoulder the responsibility, even though in his heart he still holds a deep affection for Thanh Hóa football.

Understanding the fans’ anticipation, Mr. Đệ feels even more regretful. But at this moment, he chooses to step back, watch from afar, and place his trust in those who remain. It is a difficult decision, as his love for his homeland is intact, but his passion must yield to reality.
